The Teacher Research Teams (TRTs) are groups of teachers and teacher educators from multiple STEM disciplines. Teams consist of veteran, novice, and prospective teachers, and teacher educators. The Teacher Research Team program seeks to:

(a) prepare future teachers for their first year of teaching
(b) retain novice teachers
(c) develop master teacher-leaders with agency for educational change and voice in the national dialog
(d) build practical, up-to-date perspectives and practices among teacher educator

TRTs engage in publishable educational research on problems of practice identified by each team. Each team is gives presentations at national conferences, publishes peer-reviewed papers, and provide workshops for other teachers.
